A nice shot my friend. Actually this is a Humming Bird Moth. Yes, a Moth. Cool huh? Nice capture with good color saturation. A suggestion would be to crop in from the left and eliminate the red flowers and thus accent the Great capture of this moth. Just a thought. Great post Jack ~ Steve

Wow. What a difference. Much better emphasis on the subject. The only other thing to remember is to try and Not always put the subject in the exact center of the photo. A bit off to right or left or up or down often gives a nice 'out of the ordinary' look. I like this one as is. Hope you do too. Great job Jack ~ Steve

Jack,
A beautiful picture of both the Camellia & the moth which I read someone else has identified for you...my computer is on a go slow & looking things up can take hours rather than minutes. I knew it was a moth as soon as I saw it but could not say what species.. Beautiful sunlit composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

I did not know what this was but I do now, thank you so much for your review, that is how we learn things by just showing a photo. JackJr.

I think it is a sphinx moth. They are about the size of a hummingbird and can hover in the air. A very nicely detailed shot with beautiful colors.

I love the colour pink and botanicals so this photograph aligns with my preferences. I like the illumination. It is bright enough to capture the pigment of the flowers and the appearance of the insect but not to the point of overwhelming the audience. Well done!

This is a Hummingbird moth sometimes also called a clearwing moth. They are a pretty cool looking insect. A nice clear well focused shot and nicely composed with the far background blurred and not distracting. Well done Jack.

A fascinating photo showing this half bee, half moth like creature - the likes of which I've never seen before - captured with great clarity and precision balanced delicately on these pink flowers and framed well with good DOF. The colours are great and the detail on this mystery insect is great - I'd look further into what it is as it may be a rare beast! great work, well done :)

I was told that it was a hummingbird moth or some kind of moth, in other words it seems to be well known but not by me, have a great day and thanks for the review. JackJr.

Yeah the flowers talk about him. Says he is not a 1flower bee. Just pollinate em and leave em..whatta guy! Evil grin.. Lolol. Oh I just couldn't resist that. Lolol. The clarity is great. The capture of the light is great. The angle of the shot of the bee and colorful flowers is great. The image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall

I really appreciate your review my friend and I just don't know what kind of insect that this is, it looks like a bee and then the wings makes him look like a fly. Anyway thanks once again for the review, I do appreciate it. JackJr.

Great to see this busy photo with colorful flowers and a little visitor. The lighting on the pedals look nice. Have fun with your camera.
