I really like the soft pastel colors and the fabulous textures on the coral reef. The fish swimming about are Colorful and fab.

A framer, Suzanne! Your choices of water colors first (of course) and then the acrylics has created a bit of 'depth' in this beautiful work of art. Seriously...this is refreshing as a work of underwater art should be. You have nailed the emotion that should come from such a painting. It is easy to imagine this scene in real life. Yet your hand has rendered it as a true work of art...with 'mixed media'...LOL...water colors and acrylics.. :D Your colors are beautiful as if lit by the sun above these clear waters. You have some beautiful shadows leading us to the barracuda in the distance...thank goodness for these smaller ones in the front. It is just impossible to view this and not have it come to life in my mind. Your masterful hand and imagination have given us a beautiful canvas to view. And what a nice memory for you and your daughter. thanks for sharing, Suzanne.
