I love THESE guys too. We have them here where I live. I've seen their tracks many times but the cats themselves are very shy and elusive. Your image of this guy is A-MAZE-ING though. WOW!
Focus is CRISP CRISP CRISP and the up close and tight presentation of that gorgeous face is just outstanding. Superb eye contact. Excellent color and well exposed.
I see nothing I would change here Grace. It is the best close-up of a Puma I've seen in a long time. Super job w/ your camera!! Gets one of my gold stars. EASILY!

A very fine shot with a beautiful penetrating gaze. The colors are excellent and the cropping is superb. I like the exposure for the white chin and of course the fantastic eyes.
