Not a bad find well photographed here! Your full, central and busy composition gives us lots to look at. Sharpness and exposure are fine. Nicely taken!

Cool,Mary!
I'm fascinated by old junked cars like this one,my friend! : )
I can't identify the poor old hulk as I'm not up on Australian makes ( Could it be a Holden? Or possibly an Australian Ford? ) but I'm certainly enjoying your photo of it and I'm groovin' on the cool Mysterious vibe that it's putting out!
'Good Show',my friend!

Glad you got out of the house to capture this. This is a good example of expressive photography in my eyes. The old car has been left to rot and deteriorate, cast aside, no longer of use to its owner. Isn't this how we sometimes feel as we get older? This composition evokes pathos, pity, sadness and other feelings, but as a composition it is well done. You have framed your focal point well, though I think I might have cropped it on the left where the other car next to it began, to seriously focus on the VW and its one empty headlight socket and skeleton frame for greater initial impact. You have a good creative imagination to have captured this.

A great shot taken from a good POV and great angle of this ghost car - I'm sure Sean will appreciate massively as this is a strange interest we both have in common - what story lies behind it? what journeys has it been on? how did it end up here as it's final resting place? fantastic clarity and a lovely haze created by the near focus of the capture through the greenery. A lovely shot of this moment in time, slowly and gracefully degrading back into nature's grasp. :)

I get so frustrated in setting beautiful vintage cars rotting away and worse still when the owners decide not to sale it and state that they well restore it but then don't...your shot of this old motor is structured well and the composition tells the later sorry from what I can perceive

Thanks so much - you definitely would have been frustrated here as there were probably 50-100 wrecks in varying stages of decay. My son-in-law had a "restoration" project in the carport for around 5 years until he sold it on to someone who hopefully will actually do the work. :)

A mundane subject given a special presentation.
Creative concept. Innovative approach. Imaginative presentation.

This should be a runaway winner for the Rusty Object contest.
Subdued lighting.
Compact framing.
Sharply focused with hazy foreground grass.
Thanks for sharing...
