A very pretty little bird which often are extremely fast moving and hard to focus - which you have but on the wing rather than the eye. The composition is nicely done with good lighting and color.

He indeed was moving fast and this is the only photo I captured. Thank you for the review.

Cool,Anita! : )
It's certainly an attractive little thing and your well-timed photograph of it makes for a very enjoyable image to look at too!
It's yet another 'Really Good Show',my friend!

Thank you so much.

Another centered framing of this vibrant bird that stands out despite the shaded dynamic, diagonal branch.
It pops out against the verdant overtone!
Subdued lighting with nice bokeh effects.
Thanks for sharing...

You lucked out! Hard to get close enough and keep them still at same time. But he's a beautiful little yellow darling! I love yellow birds, very good job, the green almost overwhelmed him, but he's held his own pretty much. Very good job

It is a lovely little bird you have pictured here, and it is standing out really well against the softened background. I do however feel that the focus is a bit misplaced because it is on the wing I can see the sharpest details in the bird. It could of course also be that the bird is moving a bit.
The exposure is however fine and the light is falling on the bird in a lovely way. I also think the photo is nicely cropped and the bird is well placed within the frame.
All together a lovely and well taken photo, but in need of some corrections.

Well done. I love the framing, as that, combined with the focus, really makes the coloring of the bird stand out and thus draw the eye right to it. I also have to applaud you on the quick action and being able to capture this photo of the bird - in my experience, the birds tend to rush off faster than I can snap a photo, lol. Again, nicely done.

Thank you again for the great review and rating. You are right about the birds moving so fast as this was the only photo I managed to get!
