it really looks like their trying to listen into a conversation, like the background your lines are sharp and expression are good, like the rose.

Another well drawn flower illustration. It is done with great execution in colors, shading and composition. You use a limited pallet, but make it all work with wild amusement. Karen

Great piece MK.
I like the split background. It adds a nice contrast to the figures, especially sunflower.
I think I might have added a little more shading to the mortar joints in the brick to so pull them out a bit.
Overall, another fine work.

I know this is for your video but the title made me think of the Christmas carol, "Do You Hear What I Hear?" I think it would also make a splendid Christmas card.

Really? Is this "Y'all come back now, ya HEAR?" in cartoon? LOL Wonderfully entertaining. They look like they are in a line up waiting for their mug, or should I say, bud, shots. Sorry I am ready for a nap and am punchy. I love the bold, bright, cheerful colors and the action suggested by the bent leaves to their ears. It leaves the viewer wondering what they are listening for? Very creative as always.

I never cease to enjoy studying your work...imagining your preliminary plan and your where you begin...with the wall or the flowers. I would expect...knowing that sharpies give you little to no room for mistakes or redoes..that you must always begin with the front or your scene first. Yes? Hope this collaboration will soon be visible! :D

You do have me wondering. Trying to put it together in my mind. As always, your detail is spot on. Excellent work in the bricks and house. Thank you for sharing.

this is at this moment, for me, quite amusing. I recently - unfortunately, bought a house or rather my eldest son in Ausie, who had done well, bought one for me. As it was his money, I opted for quite a cheapy, as house prices are in this city- a former council house. It had lots of wasted space, so I asked a builder to alter the house- here the amusing bit, our neighbours are a young, not long married couple- I wondered why they were both standing upstairs doing nothing- they were listening to the neighbours in the bath next door-- ha ha ha. I had the same happen when I went to Canada, I always stay at a rooming house in Toronto, next door was an African lady, who had many gentlemen callers, and it seems the bath, next door to mine, and very thin walls is a place of much love making, all night!! and very loudly. I learnt accents I had never practiced before, as they seemed all to be Africans and such!!! Here is the builder's mate, who said just that to me- can you hear that they just said! Good illustrations to my experiences!

I love it! I like that you used flowers and leaves as faces and arms.
