A very nice shot. The flat light gives you great shadow detail and beautiful colors. I like the perspective and the fine slightly panoramic look.

Who ever saved and restored those buildings did a fine job. So did you in photographing them. You photo has good clarity an realistic color. I like the deep angle. It was a good idea to use the natural hill as lead. It gives a fine perspective. The diagonal view of the buildings is eye pleasing. You might crop some of the street below. The emptiness of it takes some attention away from the buildings.

You offer us another lovely view of this old town.
You can almost feel the people that have come and gone from days past.
Nicely presented with great clarity and a perfect vision.

Thanks Eileen, was quite pleased there weren't many tourists as the modern day clothing would have looked out of place :)

a great and interesting capture mary; it must be an excellent site for shooting old style movies; just need to add some life, like Aussie cowboys, if they exist;

Thanks Fred, yes a couple of bushrangers wouldn't go astray - it is privately run and the costs for insurance are so high he can't get people to dress up and wander around.

wow, what a project to move the buildings
In Israel, an old part of Tel Aviv was moved about 400 meters in order to save it, then it was convert into an amazing shopping park
thanks for sharing

I have always liked work that is simple yet speaks a lot.Many times there is no need
to add extra things to a work because as is, it can speak a thousand words.I find that here
and I enjoyed it very much.Also,many thanks for the very informative notes you shared.

Excellent choice of subject in Diminishing perspective.
