What a cutie bug!! I love the touches of color you pulled into this graphite rendering. Lovely expression, beautiful featuring and detailing throughout. Love the darker tones that really accentuate your subject and really bring out the eyes. I'm sure your friends love it.

How wonderful your review is. Thank you.

This is a cute and precious child indeed, but she seems a tom boy full of mischief. The broken beats and all those scratch marks and stray hairs in the face show that. Her face impression and her smile are adorable, The limitation of color emphasizes the face impression and the mood of the portrait.

Out of sixes Lady Linda, but your work is worth all the stars in the sky. Your hands were kissed by God and this sweet girl is too cute for words. I love your choice of Selective colors here and the way you always put life into the eyes you draw. She has the cutest smile pushing her tongue out a wee bit. I like her fancy necklace that is broken, but she loves it so still wears it. My niece was like that when she was a wee one.

Beautiful work!
:)

As always you did an awesome job oh great pencil wizard. The facial expression is perfect. The details is excellent. The shading is superb. The depth is excellent. The creation is well balance and very eye appealing to the viewer. Very creative and awesome work overall (standing clapping and cheering)

This really captures a young heart and spirit. You can see her young soul in the way you have rendered the eyes and the great little smile on her face.
This work has an amazing attention to detail and a wonderful use of subtle shades and color.
Awesome!

It's not perfect, and that turns it into a true beauty.... Dnt take it otherwise as I jst have said Dat it's not perfect, as you have managed to capture a lively emotion here.... Perfection is bound with rules and we name it emotionless. I like da way of using light colors, shadows and lights are well balanced... It gave it a soothing look. It's a true beautiful artwork of a cutie.. Stay blessed thr.

Dear Linda, you are one of my most favorite artists here. Your art always infuses emotions and time to the viewer. You are so very gifted by God and sharing your talents makes the world brighter and more beautiful. What a great title, Broken Beads. I love the subtle colors and sepia colors with shades of rose, burgundy and pink. I showed your art to my Sister in law and she too could not believe your works were not photos. She also was touched as I with your inspiration to create. You have a Beautiful Soul Linda. Don't ever Change. So looking forward to seeing more. Blessings to you ALWAYS.......~ Cindy Sue ~

Beautiful piece! Love the expression on the little girl's face. One suggestion I have would be to continue the beads to the edge of the paper, since they're kind of suspended in mid air right now. I don't know how the original photo looked, though, so can't be sure.
Good luck in the contest!

Well the point of the drawing was the broken beads, hence the name. Thank you for your kind review.
