What a cool photo Mary Eileen. I like the special look that you gave this scene. Your after photo work really makes this picture. You have taken an ordinary scene and made it into an extra-ordinary one. Well done my friend ~ Steve

This is very cool, Meg. You have created a perfect scene for this antique train. Your vintage looking 'paper' has a fragile look to the edges and a bit of noise intimating an old photograph that has been stored in a box with lots of other history. I like this very much. Excellent choices in your post processing effects! A pleasure to view.

I don't usually like dark pictures, but this is great. I like the idea the the bend cannot really be seen but implied. The dark of the train is offset by the green trees with some light gold in them. Makes it look like Fall in the North. The blue which at first I thought sky at first is more trees. The impact that struck me first and stayed with me are the white rails ofr the train. Beautiful job.

great image! The background work is very cool~ especially the trailing detail of the trees, makes it feel as if the train is in motion. Well done

If this was in square format it could quite possibly pass for a old KodaChrome slide of the 50's. One of the many full boxes I have from my parents that I don't know what are on most and cost dearly to trans to print or a drive. I like the effect of the filter and areas of destress and desaturation. Mostly I thank you for the stirring of my old memory cells. Great job. Blessings Meg......Always, Cindy Sue ~

Cool,Mary Eileen! : )
That's a fine looking photographic presentation and it features a subject that I feel is simply Fascinating! It's a well focused and pleasantly colorful piece and the 'scratchy' ,almost 'burned out' look of the sky and the upper areas of the trees is pleasantly interesting!
A very 'Good Show',my friend!
