Nice capture. I like that the bird sits on a diagonal branch. The branch and the bird resemble a X which is interesting. The bird is in crisp focus. The colors look natural. The little red on the head draws the eyes. The shallow DOF emphasizes the bird nicely.

Nice shot. I'm trusting that it is sharp as I don't have my glasses (aging sucks!) Beautiful light and placement of the bird. Spot on exposure. Love the diagonal line of the branch. Lovely soft background. Well done.

I'm afraid I don't have time to do up a really good review but it's Sat. and I still have some gold stars I don't want to not use. Your beautiful bright yellow Finch and you get one of them though.

I am sorry for such a crappy job reviewing it though Grace. Just have really spending a ton of time out in my gardens....the season for MY flowers is almost over....but YOUR pretty yellow Finch made me smile!

It is kind of bittersweet that the flower season is almost over. I'm glad you are taking time to enjoy your gardens.

Well done! Your colors are well controlled and natural - the focus, depth and light provides ample detail to really appreciate the subjects form and characteristics in a striking way . Perspective is nice and granted a powerful diagonal line. Contrast - Wow. I very appealing image.
