You should be very proud of this take.
The color is awesome.
The DOF field has the entire bird well focused and in high definition.
The background melds into a even and gentle bokeh that does not demand attention.
There is even a slight catch light in the eye.
Central framing gives the viewer a clear and detailed look at this little avian.
It doesn't get much better than this ... B-)) Bob

Lovely combination of colors used in this work indeed i love the photo detail of the yellow bird, the soft looking green of his back fethers ser amazing and his red in his little head is só nice. Well done.

This is a wonderful photo of this very colorful bird! Looking at it's bright yellow color makes me think of a bright sunny day. You captured the textures of the fluffy feathers very well. Great sharpness in the bird and perch. I like the smooth green background.

We have a decorator plate with a finch on it but have never seen one in the wild. This is an outstanding catch. The lighting, crop and focus are outstanding. The POV is superior. Love the little guy.

This is indeed a beautiful little yellow Finch, and you could not have taken a better photo of it. The background is perfect as well, and the bird is standing out from it in an excellent way.
Your photo is pin sharp and it is indeed clear and well defined details to be seen in every part of the bird. Down to the high light in the shiny eye, and the exposure is spot on.
The framing and the position of the bird is just perfect, and I like the diagonal placement of the branch as well. This is a truly beautiful and well taken bird photo, and with an excellent DOF.

I'm not sure what this little Avian creature's actual disposition might be like but his bright coloration certainly is beautiful!
