I love this for many reasons. It has spectacular initial impact, is visually stunning and the bold colors keep the viewer engaged. The nice sharp focus shows lots of details quite well, like the bird's claws/talons. You have placed the focal point well and given it additional interest by being able to capture the bird perching on an angled branch which leads the viewer's eye in and up from right to left. Superb.

Another upload that I love from you. Simple and strong following the KISS principle and you know I'm a sucker for KISS.
The diagonal sweep adds dynamism, the colour palette is sensational but minimal and complimentary. The exposure is perfect and that is hard to do with yellow ...I learned from my photo club that yellow is one of the hardest colours to photograph.
AND best of all the eye catch is present.

A great shot with brilliant lighting and POV here, capturing this colourful and (very vocal at points!) Yellow Finch, with wonderful clarity too showing the detail on the breast, wings and face, and the unique subtlety that bright and lively birds like these have that blend yellow, green, orange and grey/black together effortlessly in their colourings. You have caught this very nicely and with good DOF that accentuates the presence of this fella even more with the duller green background - wonderful photo and well done. :)
