Nik,
An interesting cityscape over the city that is said never to sleep, not being familiar with New York the only building I think I can identify is the Empire State Building in the centre . Beautiful composition framing & lighting softened by the rain clouds hiding in the sun struggling to break through. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Wow beautiful skyline! Great, crisp clarity allows viewer to see the details in the individual buildings. I love the clouds in the sky, they look so real and so flat. Good natural lighting and depth of field!

Wonderful capture. Love the natural lighting with such grandly natural color. Perfectly placed in the frame with such wonderful strength in the levelness! I personally had no idea there was level and curve adjustments!!! Fantastic - guess I'm gonna have to check it out! Thanks for sharing!

Asphalt Jungle and my breath catches when I think people actually live there, to me it looks alien.
I do feel that more burning in of clouds would have given you a visually stronger image.
The photograph is pin sharp and the contrast is good. You might want to post your camera techs, that way the more serious reviewers would be able to give you more information on adjustments.
I like this, feels pure and unpretentious.
