This is indeed a special photo of something some of us don't see very often, and I especially like that you managed to capture the woman's lovely smile. It really looks like she is enjoying herself. Of course the stop action could have been better, but in a photo like this it is not really a big issue.

Some parts of for your photo is however nice and sharp and this means that your focus was very good. The exposure is not too bad either.

I like the tightness of the cropping and the performers placement within the frame. It is a lovely and well taken journalism shot Chuck.

Tanks Annie. The original shot had four "pairs" (or parts of pairs) in it and I was torn between using that one or this tightly cropped version. After going back and forth, I settled on this one.

This is a great journalistic piece. I like the action and view of the costumes. A little faster shutter speed may have caught the motion better. I think you did a nice job especially considering the lighting of the venue. My favorite part if this image is that you captured the woman smiling. She looks like she is having fun.

A very nicely timed shot that captures the action very well. I like the cropping and think the expression on the faces of the dancers is fantastic.

Chuck I used to work with handicapped (wheelchair bound) teens and when they partied, oh my how they partied. I love the excitement you caught here and the movement.

I am all for blur and would even dare to suggest MORE blur to show us the wildness that can happen. That smile of the woman in the chair says it all as the gentleman is relying on her magic, strength and steering.

Your point of view is also nice to shoot up like that gives a noble feel and shows their strength.

YES to this...thumbs up!

Thanks for the great review. So why no 6? ;-(

Good question Chuck, why no 6? Generally I give a 6 when a photo catches my breath and holds me. Here the background white of others steals a bit of attention...had I seen more of the other dancers the photo would have been complete but here they are a bit of a tease. Don't worry....soon a 6 is coming your way especially with the skills you show and the subject matter too.

Chuck,
A great picture of this pair of able & disabled dancers performing their routine aided by the wheel chairs. It must have been very interesting to see (unfortunately I was unable to view the video) Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

A fantastic and inspiring photo, although a little bizarre - good to see this kind of thing coming into fruition and people using their intuition and creating groups for less abled people to do something frankly quite astonishing! A good shot of one of no doubt their unique moves, with good lighting and POV - capturing them mid routine - a great shot of this unusual but creative form of expression. Good work :)

Wow. What an artistic concept of using the two categories of dancers working together to form wonderful scenes. I watched the video. Very amazing and touching. A great performance. Those in the wheelchairs were very adept in their moves. Thanks for sharing this truly unique work ~ Steve
