It's sometimes a shame how things change and "progress" but actually end up worse and put you at an inconvenience. A lovely painting though that expresses the waiting feeling well, with the lady sitting, smoking, waiting, repeat next day etc. Great detail and proportion/form on her and lovely varied colours used throughout to accentuate the piece, with the large plant in the background and patterned tiling, along with either a doll, or a worker in the background? your characters are so diverse I sometimes cannot tell!! a great piece, well done :)

thank you--the woman, plant and table was real and the tiling, but the picture was a representation of the huge numbers of varied nations, most of whom seemed to sit in the cafe with their one bag. I often use some sort of icon to talk with.
