Beautiful. A visage that is immune to exaggeration and has been kept within the expected connotations of being delicate, pure and subtle. It's ultimately an image that evokes a sense of nostalgia and reflection of ideas of beauty then and now. Very impressive work.

Lovely rendition of an old photo. Beautiful contrasts between the darks and lights balancing composition into a nostalgic remembrance of a bygone era. The delicate addition of red pencil superbly completes this proportionately perfect portrait.

This is an excellent representation and a good example of directed characterization whereby the subject is looking at something or someone we cannot see in the composition, but can readily imagine from the expressions of the subject. I am also drawn to your exceptional media technique. Very well done and thank you for sharing.

Just the other day I was reading about Evelyn Nesbitt, one of the Gibson Girls, and this looks very much like her. I wonder if she was the subject in your old photo? You did a superb job recreating it.
