Wart, bumpy, strange pumpkin

Wow, what a creative pic, I can see why you entered it in the "straight out of the garden" contest! You have captured it's rawness yet uniqueness. With all it's "gory" pimples and dimples, (in full sun) there is still the amazing natural beautiful orange, green and yellow colors and textures. I like how you use the black background which makes the orange pop. Thank you the educating me!

Thank you for your review my friend. Sorry this is not timely but a kidney stone attacked me. The stone won, I lost. I am better now Blessings Always, Cindy Sue.

ha ha ha ha ha.....including you! I like that and I like your humour, we need more in our lives.

Of course this is a smack dab lovely shot , and dare I say it....?....of a lovely pumpkin! (warts and all).

Reminds me of my many friends who I adore..."warts and all".

You get full marks for this face on well contrasted image, bright and technically nicely executed. A bit tight on the right ....(ahem) try to get equal marginal space all round when you do these kind of close encounters.

Thank you whoever you are.....mr. or madam KNUCKELHEAD.

Do you mean Gasp Gnarl Smile piece? Kidney stones are no joke....did you get it blasted into sand?
reply by the author on 31-Aug-2017
Yes please Olga, the Gasp was me. Told you you knew me. Strange thing. I gave up sodas 4 years ago. Went to filtered water. Eating so much less meat and get these darn stones. Last Sept I had one in the darn stones in the middle of my R kidney. I was septic. Had to ride it out 9 days in the hospital. Being a nurse made me a mean pt. Only to the docs. Long story. No they can't shake, Lazer or Lasso my suckers. Point is I am better now. But thank you my friend.

Your image of the knuckle head pumpkin is great and your story so fun and humorous to read, I LOL OUT LOUD. I have seen these before and thought they were a freak of nature or something-lol but they are a real variety. Everything sharp, revealing all the warts and beautiful Orange shine on the pumpkin. Would loved to have seen the Witch carving and maybe you will do another Witch for us. Thank You for sharing.
