A wonderful shot showing this solitary bird flying away from the chaos of the falls and towards calmer air/ground, with great clarity capturing the bird very well mid flight and clearly against the huge whitewash background of these mammoth falls themselves. Great DOF and nice natural lighting, showing clearly the falls themselves and surrounding landscape, and emphasising the spray well with a large portion of the picture devoted to the brilliant white that is endlessly created by this wonder of nature. Fantastic shot, well done :)

Very nice composition. Detail and clarity are nice of the falling water and the seagull. The heavy mist of the water is can almost be felt by the viewer. Cropping and off centering of the bird is perfect.

Hello Nikman
Good Initial impact. I like the way you are immediately hit with the cliff on the right and then into the strong water falls.
Then you pass into the misty water spray which gets even stronger as you move to the right. You can almost feel the water surrounding you as you move to the right.
There is a lot of feeling in this image. It is a story well presented. Thank you for sharing.

Seagulls are funny creatures. They will endure anything for that tidbit of food. Can you imagine the power of Niagara Falls?
This is a very interesting image, my friend. Your focus is pin sharp. Excellent DOF. Color/exposure/white balance all wonderful. Well done and thank you for sharing.

This is an interesting photograph, especially for its dynamic, break-away composition. Indeed, one is drawn to the center by the sheer curiosity of what lies behind the mist. Very well done and thank you for sharing.

This is a beautiful capture. It surely must be inspiring some of our traditional artists to paint. It is a work of art.
Your framing is crucial here..with the lower right frame giving credence to the large expanse of mist in your overall crop. And that space is truly necessary to carry your bird through your frame and to display the grandeur of this sight.
There are many shades of white in this scene...even intimating a bit of sea shell pink..at least on my screen. It is amazing how this appearing mostly monochromatic scene really isn't. The aqua is a focal point that is pointing to your bird.
A dramatic composition...well shot and post processed. A gallery would enjoy hanging this for you. :D

A sit up and take note photograph Nikman.
You did not use your photometer and the white burst of mist did not fool you at all. You have handled the exposure skillfully showing good detail with solid tones in the visible aspect of the image and then the mist is not blown out at all. This post shows us the prowess of photographer and your understanding of camera. No camera will ever do it better than you and placing it into Manual Mode was the way to go.
Your image is full of mood and impact. The singularity of bird hold us and allows our blood to flow while the mist gives us a mystical/surreal feel.
It is interesting how that little bird, small and fragile helps to balance the entire shot.
I am very sorry to tell you that I do not have a 6 in my pocket so can only offer you a Cyber 6.
