This shot has the most detail of just about any flower shot I've seen in a long time.
All aspects of this blossom are sharp and deeply defined.
All the petals show a high degree of crenellation. The inner parts are vividly displayed as well.
The color are deep and luscious.
The lighting is perfectly suited to this take.

Watercolour filter looks good here and has transformed your flower photo from ho hum to over the top.
The only comment I have is the marginal space at left is a tad tight (something reviewers always tell me about my posts...ha ).
The colours are wonderful, really lush and delish. Vignette gives extra holding power as well.

Good lighting, great crop and focus. The lighting pops the color of the bloom so well. The POV of the bloom with the stems behind add structure and DOF. It is very well shot.

this is so lovely. I love the rich and warm Autumn colors. Pretty artistic angle, with great focus on the petals, yet showing some of the greet accents (sepals) . The square framing fits well, as well as the dark background. Deserves to be on the wall!

Oh what a nice work on this one Mary. The vivid yet subtle colors are rendered so well. Perfect placement in the frame. I like the textures of the petals and the sharper focus on the stamens in the center. Yet another wonderful work Mary ~ Steve

I for one love this picture and the added effects that you put into it are beautiful. I see so much emotion coming from this flower and the way it is stationary, but still has movement is very impressive. The only thing I would add is to brighten the left side petals just a bit to enhance to flowers appeal.
