Your colors are the initial impact for me in this scene. The highly saturated color of your bird is nicely reflected in the water...but still allowing his feet to show. Nice work there! The colors of your water are my favorite part. The reflecting sky vs the greens and browns and their textures remind me of one of Monet's water paintings. Beautiful.
I keep thinking I am a bit put off by your reflecting post. But it really has framed your birds head and eye quite nicely...giving your the chance to have more clarity in that important part of the bird. That all elusive eye is not easy to capture unless you have your camera on spot metering and have the spot on that eye! Hand held! Nice work! A pleasure to view!

Nicely captured image.
I appreciate the front of the body framed by the darker reflections beyond.
It really makes the head stand out.
The only thing is it looks just a tad out of focus.
