Nice, bucolic traditional scene.
It makes you want to punt down the river on a quiet afternoon.
I particularly like the detail on the boat on the right.
It really brings one into to scene.
The reflections of the house on the left are also quite nice.

A lovely, almost dream like scene with wonderful vibrant colours highlighting the blue in the water and the reflections cast upon it, with the barge slowly cruising down past the houses by the canal on a lovely summery day. The reflection of the house is also very well done and a nice touch. Good contrasting colours and a sense of serenity throughout the piece - lovely and simply but well painted scene, good work :)

Nicely balanced; especially with the number of objects. Colors are vibrant. I especially like the pink flower garden on the left. The bridge in back is sized well, but for me the outline could be sharper. Lovely and serene scene.

Thank you for your kind words and for taking the time to review my work. I agree about the background. That is the one section of this work that I am not satisfied with. I was afraid of overworking it so. I stopped.

This is nice. I like the folk art feel of this work of pastels. Your colors are vibrant and appealing to your viewer. You subjects are placed strategically in your frame to let your viewer imagine moving along on this river beside the docks and other boats. Your colors are complimentary throughout your work. And again..your hard lines and rich colors are a bit of the abstract...but mostly leaning into folk art in my opinion. A pleasure to view. Thanks for sharing.
