Linda, I am beginning to recognize your work from afar. Your pastel hues are so rousing and I delight in your realistic/dreamy scapes.
This has a warm sunshine touch to it and I think you did a spot on job with tonal values. The way you have shadows at the base of those two trees grounds and holds us. The variations in the grades of blue in water gives a flowing movement. Your detail in grasses is not to be missed. And the farm in the distance begs our eyes to step deep into your work...and we do.
Composition wise you have a strong focal point(s), good lead lines, and texture shown in rocks.
The colour palette is your signature and I am always delighted to find your work and to give you a review. The format is appropriate and gives the trees a presence.

This is a serene, peaceful, and beautifully realistic setting that you have brought to life. The bare trees, somehow, should be there as they add depth and your eyes will travel to the back of the field. The colors are well balanced with darker grasses along the rocks at waters edge. Very special and you have done a great job.

I love the way the vertical lines of the tree are broken up with the horizontal lines of the rocks and the land in this painting. Also the light pastel colors work really nice with the artwork. Nice work.

This will make a great addition to the contest. The soft pastels and the perspective is so well balanced. The vertical height of the trees give you lots of room the fill in the background with super cool country scenery. The river running through it breaks of the scene well. Good luck in the contest.

Lovely combination of colors used in this art work indeed, good perspective and depth i think you could add some more shades and caret different hues of the same color, going lighter in the background and darker in the foreground this will give you a three dimensional art work but this work indeed is looking good.
