It's nice to see a pastel artist. I used to do a lot of pastel work, but since Michael's doesn't carry pastel paper anymore, I stopped doing them. This artwork has great initial impact and a strong abstract view on the landscape. Nice color choices. Good work. Karen

Whenever I visit CAL which is every alternate year, a visit to the Michaels is a must for me. They do have wonderful pastel paper. You could try at Aaron Bros also. They have excellent variety though a bit pricey!

Nicely done. I particularly like the way you contrasted the darks with the lighter colors. The sea is well done with the motion of the waves reflecting the sunlight. The clouds have a nice abstract feel and compliment the sea. Very well done ~ Steve

It has a very Salvador Dali mixed with Georgia O'Keefe feel to it. Very ethereal and surreal,
