What a stunning butterfly here Mike and how beautifully you've presented him.
Spot on sharply crisp focus....every detail so well shown. Colors are natural....image is well exposed. The little square format just right for showing this guy . I think the frame may be just a tad heavy but the color is perfect.
Believe it or not I had never heard much about Butterfly 'Houses' until I joined this site. I am used to simply watching them in my gardens but I forget not everyone is as lucky as I am to live in a place where Butterflies visit and flit around from one flower to the next on their own. At any rate Mike it is a really well presented image. Nice work w/ your camera catching this one.

Thank you so much Deborah for your kind review and comments - much appreciated. It seems that reviewers are not in favour of frames and that is fine. I was trying to use them to give the impression of looking through a window to see what is beyond. It clearly is not working! Regards, Mike.

Oh no Mike- I use a frame on every single piece I post....perhaps just not as large of a one as you' used here....so I heartily approve would just use one a bit more narrow....but frame color is perfect. You are very welcome for the review.

This is an appealing shot of a very interesting butterfly. The details captured on the butterflie's body are superb! It is rare to get a shot that displays the proboscis. Nice!
