Good poem and art. We get two for the price of one?
Right now I think that the Earth is revolting, probably because what we are doing. We have four madmen in office -- Putin, Trump, Kim, and the head of Isis, Abu. I'm not a Christian, but why am I thinking the four horsemen of Revelations. I can't help it.
Well, I don't believe that God would destroy the world, there is too much good -- children, animals, love, babies, weddings; and love being the most important.

Nicely done. It evokes a lot of sadness and angst. Your narrative and accompanying poem is perfect.
The angel looks distraught and more then a little battered which is definitely a reflection on the state of the world.

I love the title of this artwork. The composition is right on with the wing on the left and the other wing behind her head. The colors are soft and subtle and work well with the grey background. I like how the angels arm comes off the artwork in the lower right and makes the composition flow.

A lovely and heartfelt poem penned by yourself to go with this image is a nice accompaniment to a great drawing, done with great accuracy and showing this angel in the morose pose you describe him in - great use of shading and colours, with dark red, yellow and blacks used throughout nicely, and great perspective and detail on the facial features, with the black marks on the pale skin creating a slightly sinister atmosphere to the drawing. Great work, well done :)
