What a great contrast between the sky and the rocky ground. The sky almost looks devoid of all color. I love the birds flying in the distance and the diagonal placement of the foreground within the frame. Excellent exposure with good visual impact. ~Alveria

There is a dream sea shimmering in the moonlight behind the hill. Just look over the rim and you will find this fairy land.
The contradiction of the excellent sharp captured, colored rock and misty part behind is breathtaking. The Photomatix and Topaz effects are exquisitely applied. The diagonal composition emphasizes the differences of fore- and background. The cropping is nicely done. The photo is well framed.

I really like this one Annie. It is almost like two pictures, the foreground in color and the background in black and white. This gives such a nice contrast to the earth tones with the nicely sloping hill flowing from upper left to lower right. Really well done Annie. Kudos ~ Steve

I agree the contrast is amazing and almost other worldly. Your capture of the whole scene is superb, but I am especially impressed with how much nuanced detail there is in the hazy part. Composed artistically. That piece of hazy rock jutting out behind the clear foreground adds so much to the artistry of the whole scene. Excellent.

A beautiful atmospheric picture of the rocky landscape in the foreground with the sea & sky veiled in a heat haze that makes the sun look more like the moon behind the veil of thin clouds the swirling distant gulls adding an extra something in my head I can hear their cries... Artistic composition beautiful framing & soft lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
