Really nice shot. I love the composition with the curved branch and the fat cardinal sitting on it. There is great detail in this photo and you can see the wet on his nose. I love the colors of the red and the muted grey background. I like it.

I love cardinals. This is particularly striking with the hazy gray background. It adds to the sense of a cold wintry day. I love the way you captured the moisture droplets on the beak.

A beautiful shot of this strikingly Red Cardinal, taken with a great close up view and a marvellous POV, capturing it perfectly in posture, peeping towards the camera with it's beady little black eye. The clarity is exceptional and shows the details in it's feathers and face beautifully, and the background and it's curved white perch are the perfect backdrop to contrast with the vivid red and black of this beautiful little bird. Great shot and best of luck in the competition! :)
