A good representation of some of the great destruction that was caused. The fractured and splintered wood attests to the power of the wind that comes with a storm like that. Although technically not a landscape scene, it is nevertheless a very powerful and dramatic image that is well captured. Great work on this one Linda. Best of fortune in the contest ~ Steve

Nice initial impact on this photo. The composition works nicely with the rough and broken branches that have a lot of texture and interest. Very nice nature colors.

good focus and details, but I do not think it is a landscape shot
also, the light is a bit too bright and distracting, try to reduce it

A rare sad scene and shot.But You took it very nicely.Presentation is very nice.The Fallen tree and trunk,broken wooden parts and colors,light and shadows,green dark b/g are make a nice scene.I like this rare work.Focus color are excellent.Well Done. Thanks.

Thank you so very much for your very positive review. We came through it with only tree damage. Poor Dominica and the other islands are behind totally destroyed by Maria and her 175mph winds. Please pray for them. There are no roofs left in Dominica. I fear for their survival.

bummer, Irma did a lot of damage and heart ache, the picture tells the story of some disaster activity, like the DOF, like the square crop, maybe a bit bright, good photo however, good luck with contest
