One of the victim of nature's fury I think! Sad to see a fallen tree! Nice shot! You have framed it well. The light, colour and the composition have worked well. Good luck!

a wonderful story telling image of destruction in nature, like the composition and the details and depth you have captured, a very interesting image to look at. thank you for sharing. dale

Wow, quite fast first hand images of this disaster before the ink on the pages of the newspapers telling it's story have dried - this goes to show how many people and how widespread the hurricane was, a real mess. This is a good tiny snapshot of the effect a split second of the force of nature of something like that can do - I see many fallen trees on my daily walks in woods and countryside with our dogs, due to wind, but they have a feel that they had had their time - this colourful image captured from a good angle and in good lighting shows how the tree was in it's prime (so to speak), and wasn't ready to be snapped like a twig. Visually interesting and ethically questionable, a good shot either way.

Thank you so much. I'm intrigued but not offended by your statement, " ethically questionable." Care to elaborate?

Sorry I worded that badly, I wasn't questioning your ethics it was more of a general statement I should have worded differently. No offence intended :)

Oh, none taken. Just curious.
