What a beautiful moment?
Is there more than one manatee or is that just one big one?
Very clear image. Nice blue looking water.
Nice job. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice Capture Allan. We go up to the FPL facility to watch them on cold days they always seem to that spot. They built an observation deck just to view them.
Great Capture, sharp focus, crisp details and fine POV showing two adults and one wee one.
Nice entry...good luck :)

Thanks Sange for the review and notes. For as big as they are and mostly fat ? you would think they could do better in cold water like whales do. I have seen many of these but not a baby so close up. It was a fun shoot.

Yeah...the babies are the cutest. Saw my first one this Feb when it was 50 degrees. You have to wait every 20 minutes when they come up for air.
The baby was the highlight..cause the adults look like big rocks. We saw a needle nose fish that was more exciting! ;)

Great initial impact. It must have been nice to get to photograph and see them up close. Great composition with the baby hanging near it's mom. The blue water looks great against the grey manatees. Thanks for sharing.

Very Cool,Allan!
These increasingly scarce aquatic mammals have always fascinated me and I'm really enjoying your fine looking photo of this small family 'squadron' of them cruising along in the river!
It's a really 'Good Show',my friend!
