It is certainly folly that creates the demand for for this and many other folk remedies. Hopefully we will come to our senses before it is too late for these beautiful animals. A nicely composed shot of an increasingly rare scene.

Yes it is a very sad situation when the dwindling population of an amazing and unique animal, that simply because of a small part of it's body being in superstitious demand, despite science has proved there are no medical or health benefits. This and greed have slaughtered these poor animals and left them in terrible states before they die. It's an unbelievable thing and terrible it is not regulated more tightly to aid prevention. Anyway, the picture - Absolutely superb - easily my favourite of your Out of Africa trip photographs, capturing these beasts standing in different angles, giving you a great POV to shoot and get the different details of these amazing Rhinos. The lighting is great, subdued and natural, and the clarity and DOF are amazing, and I also guess you must have been pretty far away from these to get this photo too so even more impressive! The greenery and plants behind their little patch and the shows the true natural habitat for these perfectly and clearly, with a good sense of scale. They are each brilliantly captured showing a head on and side section view between the two foremost rhinos. Finally the panoramic view is done incredibly well and a sublime choice to finish off the picture. A brilliant and inspiring photo.

Im so pleased that there is an entrant in this competition where there are animals included in the landscape presentation. I like your panoramic composition and the descriptive notes that remind us of just how endangered these animals are ..where was this taken ?
