A beautiful pair of butterflies in a great setting. I like the light and the great color of the flowers. The pattern in the butterflies wings is eye catching and I wish you the best in the contest.

A beautiful picture of this pair of Papilio Daemoleus butterflies feasting on the blue mauve flowers nectar their wings open to reveal their beautiful black white & red patterns. Contrasting beautifully with the blue & green of the plant.
Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Beautiful photo of these uniquely colored and patterned
Butterflies. Wonderful detail in the top butterfly, and great clarity. I also love the flower it is on because I happen to have one in a tree form myself.
Beautiful accent to the colors in the butterflies. Best of luck in the contest, very eye catching
And unique entry.

    many thanks again marsha;
    do you know the name of this flower ?
reply by Malmax on 26-Sep-2017
    I think the technical name is Duranta erecta,
    Or it is also listed as skyflower. This is the first year I bought it at a nursery as a tree scrub. It bloomed profusely with so much purple.
    Maybe I'll post a picture....
    Have a great day!

Wonderful photograph. It is very colorful and interesting. Love the purple flowers that divide the two butterflies and glide your eye into the center of interest. Good luck on the contest. Karen

Looks to me like one papillio demoleus is about to demolish the other papillio demoleus in a dazzling display of papillio demoleus's dance with wings all aflutter.

My favourite butterfly of all the species and even as a young child i used to marvel at their patterned wings in books on butterflies..i would love to see one in real life..perhaps on my travels one day..You have captured them brilliantly and with such sharpness of focus which pleases me inevitably
