Well now, you surely have time to come back and tell us whether this beautiful creature was dead or alive...?! He appears to have a wound that would heal. I'm in hopes he is laying there favoring it..but perhaps not.

Well story to tell lost of skinny piece of lion.the Angle from bottom right diagonally towards upper well inside view of lion.one Injured rear leg pulling upwards with resting other on ground with tearing face indication of aliveness of his story.

A brilliant shot of the lion resting in the sunshine after licking his wound on his right knee clean, thankfully it apeares to be only skin deep. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
