I feel the breeze. I like that you are experimenting with different things. That is the only way to learn. I keep thinking I need to have my glasses checked...hehe. Well done.

Thank you much for your kind and humorous review. :o)

I like it the way it is but if I were going to crop it I would take a bit off the left and less off the bottom. I like the colors and think you captured the essence of motion very well.

Thank you for your kind review and your input. I tried the crop you advice already, but I lost the illusion of wind, It turned out just blurry. :o)
Comment from Barbara L.
You've created a lovely motion blur! I like the version you posted. I agree that cropping would probably decrease the illusion of wind. The light and colors are beautiful. Best of luck in the contest!

Cleo, I love this, but the crop at the right is too tight (ha ha ha ha, sorry I just had to say that) now I have to add "but you already knew I was going to say that".
Never mind, I will stop fooling around and give you a decent review now.
Yes, I do like it a lot. When I studied this technique, the teacher said that this kind of movement you have here is a Monet effect. Your illusion of wind is felt and I like the pops of white behind the pink flowers.
It's really a lovely post and I hope you like it as well and I hope you win.
All the best, and please forgive my humour, sometimes on this site we need a bit of humour, and a bit more of lightness of spirit, don't you think?

It isn't cropped, that the problem. It is a SOOC with wrong timing. I started the swing to early and got to far left, then I did not have enough time for the way back to the right. That's happen when one is unable to see what she is shooting.
I didn't know it is called Monet effect, but I like that name. I adore Monet.
I don't mine humor. I am just often to dubb to understand it.
Thanks for the good wishes; I just hope the contest fills up. Its no fun when there is no competition. :o)

I like this piece. One can feel the wind in the movement...it made me think of standing in my doorway and watching how fuzzy everything looked in the wind and the rains during the eye of Hurricane Irma. It also has a painterly feel.

It's like a frame from a beautiful dream, one in which we try to stay asleep in order to continue in the loveliness. Glancing at the dancing figures leaping through the frame, I am reminded of the joys of youth, with all of it's excitement.

yes it's just about right, with all the movement comming in from the left; it seems a perfectly a natural effect. not to worry about various crops. it's way harder to make a double item, more pleasing than an odd number. but duos in nature are common and here both blooms are interacting in an exquisite (enchanting) way.

i like the whole concept of this. very cool approach. the angle of the shot of the colorful flowers is great. man the wind must have been really kicking..evil grin. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. creative approach and great job overall.

I can see what you have done here, but to be honest, it is not my cup of tea. The image just hurts my eyes to look at. Sorry about that. I like the colours that you have in the image though. Definitely stands out.
