well done and congratulations on your first portraiture in ,I take it,acrylics or oils ? Good attempt at blending your dark and light tones to create a certain amount of depth in your piece .

A great painting, particularly for a first attempt at portraiture - a fun and interesting backdrop and name for the theatre/theater for starters, and well positioned and accurately painted, with Angelina posing happily in front, with great detail and proportion throughout her form, dressed in great nay blue period costume with a wonderful beret, complete with flower on - her long flowing hair looks great and great attention to detail on her facial features, most importantly those big enchanting blue eyes! A great piece, well done - did you mean to enter this piece into this competition or the portrait art one? just making sure you didn't get mixed up, I've done it I know! :)

I like this! Great story telling. Graphically it has the quality of being a book cover. Perhaps a book for tweeners.
I feel like I am about to engage in some type of serial mystery with our heroine!

Wow you have caught her so well giving us a story about her life through image making.
Especially lovely are the eyes and how I feel drawn to them. The colours are not harsh and give a further softness to this pretty young face. The detail in the hair is well done and you have a broad range of tones within this image to give it great depth and sparkle. Your strokes are consistent giving a harmonious overall feel and the crop is a bit tight on our L but that is neither here nor there.
Colour palette is warm and welcoming. Purple and yellow are opposites on the colour wheel and work well in this art.
A stunning portrait, very well drawn in dimensional proportions, pure and lovely.
