presentation. All of you time in doing so is appreciated.
The painting is done using Acrylic paint.
The canvas is broken up in squares and then each square is painted individually, in the end to become a cohesive piece of artwork.
I think the presentation shows the style and intent of pointillism in this painting. I will post a larger version of the finished painting once the contest is over. Yes, most were impressed with the painting style, technique.

oh yes that is really awesome. i was just ponting out because they all look like posatge stamps. maybe you could have dropped 2 off the picture. yes would love to see the completed 1 on it's own. brilliant work!

This is an excellent example of pointillism. I really like the fact that you captured the many stages of the scene as it was being created. I am sure that many a young mind was captivated by your work and who knows what seeds were sown. Great entry for the contest. Best of luck ~ Steve

many pen artist use the pointillism. they find it easy for them cause they dont know how to blend the colors or properly shade and they use this style. i do all 3 with my sharpie and bic pens. course no one teaches sharpie or bic since it is an office medium. 50 years of working with the pens does help too..wink. course working with ink is not considered as a painting. i reckon you actually using paint. you didnt list the medium so im guessing..wink. the depth is good. the details is great. the blend of color is great. the shading is great. the font is great. the creation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. creative and great job overall.

When you look at how this is done, it is indeed impressive work. While other paintings usually start with a sketch, it looks like this technique is done doing small areas at the time, and the final result looks great. The only thing I might have changed is the text at the bottom left. Personally, I would just have left it out. Still I appreciate that this is a matter of taste.
It is not easy to judge the finished result in detail because of the size, but I like the way you have presented this in a well framed image. Indeed a great entry for this contest, and I wish you luck.

A great collage and layout to this piece that along with the useful detailed narrative, guides us through the processes of this lovely piece of art and the progress steadily made to get to the end result. The piece itself looks like a very well and intricately composed & colourful landscape piece in the pointillism style, and the collage is nicely patched together with the stages overlapping one another complete with descriptions, and contrasting well with the green background. A great entry for the competition and brilliantly and clearly laid out, best of luck!:)
