Definitely a splash of colour here. It's amazing how nature makes these colours. Image looks a little soft, and I think that it could do with a focus point, like a lone tree in the FG, or a rock. Just something to help the image. Well done though and good luck with the competition :-)

A beautiful image. The detail in the trees and the color of the foliage is superb and the image still maintains an almost abstract appeal. A fine shot in all regards. Best of luck in the contest.

I totally agree with your text about this picture. Besides that, it is beautiful photograph of fall in the woods. There are groves of aspens in the mountains just above Santa Fe, NM. Every fall they draw artists and photographers to them, including me. This photo is so dynamic it looks like a well planned and executed painting. Reasons for my five vote.

I totally agree with your text about this picture. Besides that, it is beautiful photograph of fall in the woods. There are groves of aspens in the mountains just above Santa Fe, NM. This is a perfect fall colors composition with its soft golds and blazing orange reds. The dark areas give it depth. The soft light on the foliage give it the look of a pointillist painting.
