this bird looks like Henrietta, Henrietta was the most photographed eagle in the world and was on the Minnesota license plates, she died last summer at the National Eagle Center in Wabasha. I like this picture, nice background and i luke the eye.

Thank you! I am probably one of the only Minnesotans who never saw her! She was three years younger than our nation's oldest documented eagle when he died. He was also a Minnesotan. Very sad. They are such majestic creatures.

Wow! Really nice shot of this eagle. The detail in his eye is wonderful as that seems to be the focal point of the photograph. The bird is framed nicely and looks very proud. Nice work.

Beautiful shot of a beautiful bird! Such majesty in the expression and the detail you capture in the feathers. If you didn't mention it, I may have missed such an important detail as the star gleam in the eye! This is 'Merica!

Thank you for your compliments and that grand six star rating. I knew you would like that star gleam!
It was pretty awesome to capture it naturally.

What is it about an eagle that makes you want to stand and salute, an eagle does something to my heart little else brings out, I'm proud to be an American! Oh yes. Love him

This shot is so well done. His expression is so intense and yet he seems to be pondering something important too. Bald eagles aren't so bald either. The feathers are finely detailed with great color. Magnificent. Great work.

Wow! This is spectacular Grace....I am loving this side profile of the eagle. I like how it shows the enormous size of this eagle....but it's the capture of his eye that draws you in and captivates you. Your depth of field complimenting this outstanding photography. Worthy of a six star. You must be so proud of this one! Thanks for sharing!

I love the way that the star is in the Eagle's eye. It makes this image a 6, rather than a 5. Lighting is really good, and the subtle colours really make this image. Well done :-) I bet that you are really proud of this one?

A fantastic close up shot of the head of this beautiful bald eagle, captured with great clarity that shows the intricate detail and texture of the white head, leading down to the brown body/neck area, with brilliant sharpness and and intricate look at its beak and as you say, the eye with the light twinkling a star in it just perfectly. Good short DOF shows a dark background that accentuates this wonderful, majestic portrait like shot even further - great work, well done :)

This is a real beautiful capture and closeup photo. I especially love the sparkle you caught in its eye. It truly makes the shot one of a kind. Excellent detail and excellent profile with the light. A cyber 6.
