This is beautiful Linda. Your work it so explicitly accomplished that it appears to be a photo at first glance. I must say that the initial impact for me was your reflections on the benches. Your patience in creating and recreating that line on light must have been painstaking. And how successfully your have accomplished that! Your flowers are the same...created with fine details and perfect proportions and complimentary colors throughout. This is truly lovely. A very good show of your artistry. thank you for sharing!

Thank you so much for your very fine review. Indeed the benches were very tedious and I reworked them and the mulch many times. I left the piece for months and then took it out and decided to post it. I reworked it again before posting.

Enjoy all the colors in the potted flowers and the way you staked them. They flow like water revealing all the different ones. It is a beautiful respite as you say. Very well done and Thank You for sharing.

A lovely contrast of nature meets urban in it's rawest form! A great idea too, to brighten thing up a bit with some natural colour in the form of a selection of colourful and bold flowers arranged against the bench. You have illustrated this brilliantly with a vast array of flora merged together here amidst plant pots in the shape of a man, with softly but carefully drawn flowers and well blended colour throughout, with good perspective created with the shape of the bench and good contrast with the wall behind and grass in the fore. Lovely piece, well done :)
