I cannot stop smiling about this capture. I absolutely love it. The initial impact for me is the overall coloration of the composition. Your spectrum is limited with various shades of browns, blacks and whites and many of their relative hues. It is so pure not only in those colors but in the emotions it inspires from your viewer. I cannot decide if the mom is in ecstasy because she baby is snuggling or if she can grab a quick 'cat nap' while he/she is relaxing within touching distance. The details in the large cat face is simply stunning.

This is truly a framer. And because of that I would try to expand the frame a bit on the left to allow for a nice bit of matting. I think your were wise is leaving the body of the mom, showing her reclining position.

An amazing capture. How exciting that trip must have been. Thank for sharing it with us...as you so generously do all of your beautiful travel shots. Good luck!

I really love this shot, the only thing that I would like to see more of is a little more color, they almost blend in with the background and I think they would probably stand out more. I do love this. Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing. JackJr.

A stunning picture of this tine Cheetah Cub clinging to it's mother appearing to suck her ear while Mum lies there eyes half closed enjoying the feeling but at the same time being fully aware of what is going on around her. As soon as I opened this photo to take a look, I immediately fell in love with the entire photo...what it shows; what the baby must really be feeling holding on to his momma like that....the expression on his face is just priceless...his eyes wide open with wheels turning thinking thinking thinking as if he wants to do great things in this big world of his but for right now being with mom is the best and most important thing,,,,no conquering necessary....the bond is there between the two.
I love this photo and it has my vote .... yes it does. EXCELLENT....perfect image for this contest. Perfect Kodak moment you have achieved so very well. YAY!!!!!

Only if we all could be in this mental state of mind all of the time. Such a peaceful existence the world would be in. With the bush tangled in the background it is easy to see why these animals are spotted and colored in such a manner. The length of the body across the bottom of the picture seems to ground the photo somehow. Just a nice peaceful photograph that is pleasant to look at a lot more than once. Reasons for my five vote.
