A brilliant and vibrant show of the extreme colours of red and yellow of the leaves soon to fall and leave the tree bare, a harbinger of winter and the seasonal changes ahead. Great clarity gives pin sharp detail and the light cast upon the leaves as well as the natural effects gives a great contrast in the shades of colour. The added effects accentuate this further, with the DOF showing the light coming through and hazy green and yellow tones contrasting beautifully with the sharp capture of this snapshot of the branch. Great work, and best of luck in the competition! :)

Nice close up nature photograph. The multicolored and mottled background adds a good backdrop to the object of interest being the twig with rusty leaves. The sparseness of the leaves allows the background to filter through thereby enhancing the sharpness of the leaves being up close and personal. I can almost smell them. Nicely composed photo. Reasons for my five vote.

The colors in this photograph is amazing. The sun rays behind the branch draws your attention directly to the center, but the focus takes you slightly up and right. Looking at this, you definitely know winter is close. Great Shot!

This is a photo with really strong visual impact because the vibrant autumn colors, and I like the beams of light in the background. The almost red leaves are also standing out from the golden background in an excellent way.
Your photo is also nice and sharp and it is clear and well defined details to be seen in all the leaves. I also think the exposure is very good.
The cropping is well done and the branch with leaves has got a fine placement within the frame. A truly lovely and well taken photo, and I wish you luck with the contest.

The gold in the background is soft and does support the subject without competing with it. The lighter winter colors on both the left and right are relaxed and support rather than compete. The rich red of the subject leaves is very good . It stands out well and it is not over done. You have put together this image very nicely and it is a delight to view.
