Love the way you have used the light of the forms to cause the viewer to look at the woman's face first, then travel down to the child, then down the leg and snap back up to the face. You do have a facility for drawing. Nice backlighting to separate the form from the background. Beautiful double portrait. Reasons for my five vote.

It is immediately clear to the viewer that those two love and adore each other. The smiles in their eyes are intriguing, but look at their mouth. I think there is something wrong. I thought first that both of them look as if they are wearing vampire teeth for some Halloween fun, but after reading your comments, I guess that this is not true.
