The first thing that comes to mind on initial impact is: Eye-catchy. The bold and red and gold coloring against the black background work well for this photograph. The composition with the one flower in the bottom right just showing off the main flower works brilliantly. The detail in the main flower is superb. Nice work and thanks for sharing....and good luck in the contest.
