Very nice work here. I especially like the way you have made that outfit come to life with your awesome color placement and mixes. The black and purple work so nicely together and your varying brush pressure or paint thickness really give this piece such a good three dimensional appearance.

This one is expressive and realism in one I find. In a balance is to have at least one strong hand, I would go over and redo the hand, I like the robe and minimal color pallet.

This is a gorgeous portrait of the last Jedi.....I like that your image is telling a story. Everything about this pastel work is incredible....excellent is your shading and blending of colors. I love the highlight through the piece. Your facial features are always so outstanding. Your colors created in the background accentuate your art beautifully. Outstanding work and thanks for sharing.

You are fantastic with pastels. The facial details are wonderful. What type of pastels do you use? Did you use pencils for the fine details on the face? The piercing gaze on the figure is just fabulous.

Great job on this one!
I like the dramatic warm blue/purple against the black.
Really makes this piece pop.
You know, it actually looks a little but like you!
Seriously. Something about the expression.
Nice!

Ah, a really cool one here James. This distinguished Jedi looks every bit the part of the last of his kind. I like the pastels used as it gives the glimmer of a not completely solid figure and leaving a bit of mystery to the figure. Well done James ~ Steve
