As a former English teacher I loved graphic novels because the would get my low level readers to read. They have great art and good story lines. I could even teach the elements of good literature using them. I love that you are capitalizing on this trend as it is a great resource for educators. You can market your product on teachers for teachers and Bookrags. You can sell a download to them for a flat fee and authorize a limited number of reproductions as part of the license. Email me if you want more info.

That's an awful lot of blurb from you for a change, this must be serious! lol. I always read every narrative for the pieces I review and yours here is very true, the link between mainstream movies (especially now) and even in the 60's and onwards were heavily influenced or plagiarising comics like Marvel and DC, as the comic book writers had the best imaginations and brought the characters, although in still frame, to life already and created a persona and image for them. So what does X mean? there are a few theories I think, and you have left it open, so....;)
A wonderful picture here full of colour and vibrance and in the theme of the said topic, and a few new faces here for me which is nice to see!! As is your enthusiasm and passion for the niche but quite cult and underground comic scene, which I respect you greatly for. Plus having the skills to apply to paper yourself, a real gift. Consistently great, sharply & hand drawn pictures, showing good proportions and fantasy scenes with the best of humour and user friendliness - great work, here, and in general - A good artist stops to study another artists painting, or picture, but also takes in the story too, is my theory. Without that, it could be misinterpreted or, more importantly, underestimated. ;)

yep and all done with my lil ole sharpie and bic pens too..wink. when stan lee created this back in the early 60's all that atomic what if stuff movies where out..ants the size of cars or 2 head dogs and so on..everything like this would be some kinda of X to title to represent the unexplained or unusual. since the characters are mutants then they will be called X-men. i had the flower to ask to create an interesting topic to the viewer and honor these legendary cartoonist..wink. thanks for the great review.

This catches your eye immediately. I love the bright red brick background. Each character is strategically placed to make an interesting composition while still telling the story. I like how each one has their own facial expression in response to the talking flower. Love it and keep them coming.
