totally successful- I didn't even need to read the write up, I knew, and thought good, she has put more stuff on. When I was a child, in my second children's home, I remember wondering why the Madonna, if it is one person, changes her appearance so often, blue eyes, brown eyes etc. This one, you caught straight off..

It does have a very Giotto-esque feel to it. The colors glow with warmth and blend nicely.

A wonderful representation of the Madonna in the Greek Icon tradition. I saw many such works of art in Crete in small churches throughout the island. Your colors are well suited for the portrait and the size is just right. A cyber 6 on this one and a work that is sure to set the standard for the contest. Great work here Linda ~ Steve

This one is wonderful, the eyes are great and the colors are very well done,the only thing I would put is a shadow on her eyes from her upper eye lid. I think it would set her eyes a bit sunk in. Overall excellent art be happy with this and can't wait to see your angel.
