Just loved your notes, Deb. That sky is the most pretty winter blue I have ever seen and what a backdrop it makes for the early winter wonderland nature has created. It's like all the snow has been artistically placed throughout. Of course, the best of it all is that you have captured it with perfection. Composed with an artist's eye with impeccable spatial balance. The perspective and DOF are exquisite. Technically perfect in my view too. Should be your Christmas card. Love it. Ed.
p.s. would love to have been a little bird watching you track the hunter :).

awww....thank you so much Ed. I was so angry when I first went out...and even angrier as he ignored me and ran off but I love my little spot here and who can stay angry in a place like this??? I had completely forgotten that damn hunter by the time I was taking this image. That is just an outstanding review you gave my new piece and I sooo appreciate it. You are just a sweetheart too for giving it a gold star. Thank you so much Ed.
I wonder if that hunter was afraid of me....lol bastard. Uh-oh. Anyway, I agree and think this image would be perfect for the month of November in next year's calendar, yes??

Great story, Peg. I do love the look of this photo. It feels like a painting with the soft white snowflakes on all the green branches and on the ground too. The bare branches against the blue sky is quite nice - almost cozy in a winter sort of way. Good work.

It's a beautiful spot Cathy. That's one of the Apple Trees in the Orchard that you can almost see right through the two Maple Trees in the middle of this image. Thank you so much for checking it out and I do appreciate the very fine review. Ten more days and I won't have to worry about hunters invading my space for another year!

I am happy that the hunting season is limited too. At least photographers don't have those limits. That's a good thing. :)

This is a lovely photograph that looks like an oil painting. very nice detail on the trees and foreground. The colors all blend together in a harmonious array of beauty. The light dusting of snow lets you know that winter is coming. Nice work.

Another ten days Trajan and I won't have to worry about the damn hunters for another year....until then I barely let my dog out w/o going w/ her. Thanks so much for checking out my new post and I really appreciate the wonderful review you've given it.

lol....we had a crazy ass wind storm about a month ago BB. It wiped out all my internet equipment outside...and the line- GONE. It has been like trying to get an internet connection to Mars to get hooked up again. Had to start from scratch. Took two ISP service guys two and a half days (once they FINALLY got here) to get me hooked up again. Living out in the sticks does occasionally have it's drawbacks it seems..lol Have missed BIG TIME being here so thank you so much for checking out my new piece....and for worrying. You're a peach BB!!
