After the bacterial infection I got from my ants cat that I have been fighting for two months now..I can go a lifetime without every see one! ;) I love my dog more and more these days always by my side.
I do love the ginger color and how the tail curls around the front paws.
Your usual creative flair is the cherry on top.

I love the rainy colors you captured in this shot. The gentle light frames the face and highlights the fur details nicely. I love that the terra cotta pots in the background mi ic the colors in the cat fur.

Funny that you show a cat in Greece. I had forgotten the many beautiful cats that we say in Crete. Interesting how they seem to add to the ambience of the city and the architecture. I like how this cat almost blends with the nearby objects. A refreshing and subtle change from the ones that always stand out from their surroundings. Very nicely done Annie ~ Steve
P.S. You said you added overlay. What is that and how/what did it do for this scene?

Thank you so very much for the lovely review Steve. An overlay is usually transparent, and in this case it was fractal with a golden swirl. I used the rubber tool to most of it away from the cat itself, and also faded it. Still I am sure you can see traces of the golden lines on the background.

Excellent harmony of colors win this composition, Annie. This pretty cat seems to enjoy being a bit camouflaged in this corner of like colors...perhaps waiting for that unsuspecting rodent!
Your light and shadows work well here...with the light landing perfectly on his/her face and whiskers. Vertical framing is complimentary to the scene...as the cylindrical shaped structure behind the cat is adding a nice sense of architectural art in it's textures. A nice contrast to the clarity of the design in the cat. All well done by you and your camera. Thanks for sharing.
