Hi Moonwillow
What a lovely scene this is. It makes me yearn for the story though. I certainly would be intrigued if I saw this on the cover of a book. Excellent work, ma'am or miss and thanks for sharing this exceptional work! R

Really sublime piece this. It has the look and feel of a Maxfield Parrish or Sir Edward Leighton.
Very mystical and unique.
I think the heron needs to be toned and blended a bit, but overall a great piece!

A scene worthy of those who 'see'. The forest and all accompanying forms are exquisite. Your imagination touches that which cannot be held. One thing, and one thing only is necessary to cross over in this image. The Heron. Perfect placement. Perfect pose. It is too sharp, too true to life for this other than visible scene. Perhaps making this magnificent bird "part of the scene" with colors and feel and textures that one senses is a part of, a creation of the mystical forest in which it appears. Do you see? Without the Heron this scene is a gateway where those who see can feel at home in the sublime. If this makes no sense I apologize and will not speak of such things again ~ Steve

I love the glowing light you created in this piece. That bright green tree frog does not stand a chance. From the look on the face of the heron frog legs are definitely on the menu for dinner tonight
