That chapel looks like it is pretty good shape for as old as it is. The detail you have captured in the stones is amazing. The light sky is a nice backdrop to show off the structure. Overall, this is a very pleasing photograph.

A beautiful shot of this historically significant building. The detail in the stonework is fantastic and there is a nice texture to the bald sky. Great colors and very appealing composition.

A prominent capture with an almost HDR rendition of the cloudless sky!

An imposing structure with great vantage point showcasing the solid built.
The sun drenched mound adds to the mood of the moment.
Poignant image.
Subtle illumination.
Sharply focused.

Thanks for sharing!

Wow! Great photo!
At first I thought you cropped out the sky, but then zoomed in and can see the faint horizon 'tween sea and sky beyond.
This image has a wonderful lost in time type of feel to it.
A sentinel watching over the coast for eons.
Well done!

Nik,
A beautiful picture of this ancient Cornish stone chapel of St Michael on the brow of the hill. The moss & lichen adding interest to the stone work. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus. Don't tell a Cornishman it's in England!!!
